Jerry van Leeuwen is dinsdag 14 februari gestart met een nieuwe collegecyclus voor de Master Course eBusiness and ICT Alignment. Het betreft hier studenten Computer Science aan de Universiteit Utrecht.
Jerry van Leeuwen zegt over de inhoud van deze course: " In this mastercourse on eBusiness & ICT-alignment, we will focus on the relationships between organizations. Cooperation between organizations has become a strategic activity and takes many forms. Firms intensify their outsourcing activities, integrate supply chains, invest in customer and supplier relationship management, form strategic alliances and partnerships, etcetera. How can ICT help organizations to achieve win-win relationships with their environment, considering the increase in interdependencies and interorganizational coordination problems? In this course this challenge is addressed from both an organizational and technological perspective.
The general learning objective of the eBusiness course is to get a basic understanding of the fundamentals of eBusiness. Moreover, the course contains the following specific learning objectives:
- To be able to describe and explain current eBusiness practices and developments.
- To be able to describe and understand relevant eBusiness theory.
- To be able to analyze online business models.
- To understand the basics of B2C eBusiness, including online consumer behavior.
- To understand online B2B initiatives and B2B terminology.
- To understand the basics of ‘new’ eBusiness applications like virtual communities, social networks and mobile commerce.
